BG Battery Cleaner — Acid Detector is a foaming cleaner that provides an easy way to clean batteries to remove the power-sapping corrosives that shorten battery life. It contains an unique acid-detecting ingredient that turns red in the presence of acid. If acid is detected, it’s an indication for additional cleaning needed or the presence of a crack or leak around the terminals.

USAGE

SHAKE WELL before using. Direct spray toward corrosion and cover with a generous amount of foam. Allow the cleaner to set in order to achieve maximum penetration and cleaning action. Flush area with water. If using a hose, remove nozzle to avoid splashing the dissolved corrosives onto other areas. Wipe clean and repeat applica­tion to check for cleaning quality, cracks, or leaks. Apply BG Ignition & Battery Terminal Sealer (PN 490) to ensure long-lasting protection.
